  • Eastern Ontario
  • Greater Toronto
  • Northeastern Ontario
  • Northwestern Ontario
  • Southwestern Ontario
  • South Central Ontario

Volunteer members of regional groups plan full day and evening educational events in their region. Each region is represented on the ORCS Provincial Committee.

Respiratory Health Educators Interest Group (RHEIG)

ORCS Members have the option of joining the RHEIG, an interest group for health professionals with an interest in patient education. The RHEIG presents an afternoon workshop at the annual Better Breathing conference and publishes Connections three times per year. The RHEIG Executive Team oversees the activities of the group and is represented on the Provincial Committee by its Chair. There is a supplementary fee of $15 per year to belong to the RHEIG. Opportunities for involvement

The ORCS depends on the active participation of health care professionals like you, who volunteer their time and skills for the Society. Serving on committees, submitting articles to Update and Connections or helping to plan seminars are only a few of the ways in which you can help the ORCS achieve its goals.
